A CSCS Cards is the most important qualification in construction. CSCS Card shows that you have the skills required to work well in your trade and that you have the Health and Safety knowledge needed to work safely. CSCS Cards are graded by a colour system, the CSCS Card you qualify for depends on your level of training, experience and qualifications.
Your CSCS Card will be specific to your trade and will also contain relevant information about you on its computer chip so that the information can be checked on site. Currently about 80% of UK Construction sites require all workers to have a CSCS Card.
When you have the qualifications needed for a specific CSCS Card you will have to sit a CSCS Health, Safety & Environment Test which will test you on health and safety issues relevant to your trade. Once you have passed the test you will be eligible for a CSCS Card and can apply for one.
We are an independent testing and training centre based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. We offer training and support to ensure you are relaxed and prepared before you start your test or training. We advise our clients to study the Health, Safety and Environment test book for Operatives and Specialists prior to the test which is available to purchase from our office and partake in one of our training packages.
In June 2014 the CSCS card rules changed. Labourers now need to pass a one day Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, as well as passing the CSCS test before they can apply for the 5 year card. We can offer a one day package to get clients on site in the quickest possible time. Another option is to pass the CSCS test and apply for a provisional 6 month card which is non-renewable and gives you 6 months in which to complete a Level 1 Award.
If you have been refused entry on site, our same day test service, instant pass certificate and supporting letter will enable you to start work straight away.
Please make sure you choose the right card. There are various types of CSCS cards available covering hundreds of construction related occupations. For more details about any of the cards please click on bellow button TYPES OF THE CSCS CARDS or call us on 0149438191.
